News from Ireland that on the Irish Circuit Remix owned by Heather, Norman & Coleen Large has had two Best of Breeds and two Gundog Group 2’s

The IWSC is putting on a breed seminar after BIS at the Irish Breeds Show at Cloghran (ROI) on the 12th September 2009 .It will be presented by Marie Engstrom and will start at approximately 4.30.p.m. All are very welcome.

Another date for your diary, the IWSA will be holding their Open Show on Sunday 1st November, schedules will be going out to all members shortly.

Chris Attwood was contacted recently about an IWS who was in a RSPCA centre, as Neil  and Eileen Hume lived near the centre she asked them if they would contact the RSPCA , which they kindly did, I am pleased to say that the RSPCA were happy to release the bitch into their care and I understand from Eileen that she has settled in well with the rest of the family and has a lovely nature, we do not know how or why the dog was in the centre but don’t forget , if you cannot  for any reason continue to  give your dog a home, contact Chris Attwood as the Association  is always available to help.

This weekend is the Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show I am pleased to say that Mikey (Souldrop Chinese Whispers)  owned by Chris & Keith Attwood won the Limit Class and went on to win the Reserve Dog CC.

The IWSA will again be representing   the Breed at Discover Dogs in London in November, anyone who  is willing to help on Saturday 14th November  please  contact Marion Kong for further details  on 01273 309343 or iwsatoc@tiscali.co.uk
