News from Ireland that at the Irish Breeds Ch Show at Cloghran yesterday, the Dog Green Star , Best of Breed and Reserve
Best in Show was won by Doonbeg Leap of Faith owned by Emer Mooney, I have tried to get the other results from the show
but so far without success, I hope to be able to give you more details of the rest of the winners next week.
This
weekend is Richmond Championship Dog Show, IWS’s did not have classes but in Any Variety there was an entry of 10 dogs
with 5 being absent on the day, Best Dog was Foulby Fireworks owned by Angela Williams, David Craig and Penny Willoughby,
Best Puppy was Malanis Tia at Grakar owned by Karen & Graham Stirk the judge was Mr Graham Hill.
At a recent
get together of IWS’s owners the bitch recently in the hands of the RSPCA but rehomed by Eileen and Neil Hume
identity became known we have tried to contact the last known
owner but to no avail.

Barney is recovering after having to have a toe removed, I am sure he will soon be keeping Jaki and Alan Porter busy.
I hear that Myra Kimber has recently lost Barley, although never shown he was a much loved pet and companion to Myra, our
thoughts will be with her.
Leslie Womleighton who moved to Slovenia last year to open a hotel, has had a bit
of a set back, she has had major heart surgery, I am pleased to say she has now left hospital and is recovering at home, we
wish you a speedy recovery Leslie
