Last week-end was Driffield Championship Dog Show, IWS did not have CC’s on offer but there was an entry of 13 for Judge Richard Morris, unfortunately 7 were absent on the day, Best of Breed and Best Dog was Sh Ch Antdela Oleander (Ollie) owned by Ant Andrews  Reserve Best Dog was Fynder Seabiscuit of Glenderry, owned by Vickie Norman-Massa, Best Bitch was Malanis Cara owned by Christine Bannister , Reserve Best Bitch Malanis Tillymint owned by Hannah Cooper and Best Puppy was Stanegate Speak For Freedom owned by Lisa Walker. 

News from John Irwin that Greensocks Summer Jazz , just known as Jazz was placed Second in Open at an any variety Gundog Working Test run by the Leicestershire Wildfowlers Association last Sunday, the event was held in Groby in Leicestershire. Its nice hearing of successes on the working scene.

The Calendar of events for the rest of the year has been posted on the website and we should have the events sorted out for next year at the next committee meeting so you can make a note of the dates in your diaries.

Don’t forget that the entries close for the Open Show this coming Friday, the 16th October.
