Not much news this week, but I have had an
E-mail from Ant Andrews regarding Bolsover & District Canine Society Show which was held last week-end, there was an entry
of 4 IWS with no absentees ,Best of Breed was Antdela Larix owned by Ant, he is a litter brother to Ollie he has not been
shown very much but when he has appeared in the ring has done very well, Reserve Best of Breed was Beaufield Errigal at Axlehurn
owned by Denise and Alan Costley the judge was Miss S Macpherson who as far as I know is not on any of
the Association’s Judging List, , Best Puppy was Stanegate Speak for Freedom owned by Lisa Walker, Larix was short listed
to the last 10 for Best in Show under Mr R Oldham.
I have listed and forwarded
the calendar of events for next year together with the results of the Open Show held on November 1st
to our Webmaster Jaki but she is extremely busy at work at the moment but she will be updating them
in the near future , I think that sometimes we as members forget that all the work that is undertaken by members is done a
voluntary basis in our “spare time”

I have received the following E-mail from Heather & Richard McLaren who are new to the IWSA ,
“We have recently taken ownership of a beautiful IWS puppy “Splash” (Doonbeg Acer). Can I use the
dogblog to express my thanks to: Chris of Doonbeg, Adele of Antdela and Penny Diamond who all helped us find a suitable puppy
and have been providing us with advice, support and guidance through his early like. A great advert for the Association”
Congratulations to Ant and Ollie who took his 4th
Best in Show award at Leicester Gundog Show recently. Ollie was Best of Breed, Fynder Seabscuit of Glenderry owned by Vickie
Norman-Massa was Reserve Best of Breed and Best Puppy was Stanegate Speak for Freedom owned by Lisa Walker,
they were judged by Mrs M Taylor, who has Clumber Spaniels she was a late replacement for the advertised judge, the Best is
Show Judge was Richard Stafford.

yesterday, so it should be with you all soon, it contains the latest Topknot, AGM Calling Notice, and details regarding the
2009 Year Book together with a Membership Renewal Form. I know that some of you pay by Standing Order , if this is the case
either file the form or if your circumstances have changed, return the form to me with your new details.
