in Show, the judge for the Breed and Best in Show was Mrs C.E. Cartledge .Congratulations on a marvellous start to Leo’s
show career.
Next weekend is LKA, the last Championship Dog Show of the year, I am hoping to go
and watch the judging, this show always seems a special one to me, it’s a time for giving out Christmas Cards and meeting
up with old and new friends indeed many years ago before the health and safety culture, the exhibitors always used to take
food and drink and after the judging had taken place, we had a small Christmas party around the ring, indeed those were the
days!
Don and I spent last weekend in Lincolnshire staying with Chris & Keith Attwood, we came
home on Monday with two puppies, one for us and one for a lady called Sheila who had an IWS many years ago and decided to
have another one. I had forgotten how demanding a new puppy can be, anyway Daisy has settled in well (after two sleepness
nights) and is getting along fine with Buddy. Thank you Chris & Keith for allowing us this lovely lady and for your company
over the weekend.
You all should have received the latest mailing by now, if not let me know.
As you know Brenda Triffitt has taken over from me as Editor of the Year Book. I trust you will continue
to support Brenda and make this year’s edition the best ever.
Keep the news coming.
