CAN YOU HELP? New homes sought for two IWS
!! HOME NEEDED !!
Posted: 05 February 2025
We are currently looking for a home for a 13 month old Female IWS.
She is a nice natured dog, friendly, but very disruptive at times having had no basic training at all, and will not return if let off the lead so may chase other dogs and animals. She is very strong!
If you have the time to give her to provide her with the training she will need, and can offer a permanent home, please contact me, but please, only if you can provide for all of her needs.
Many thanks
Lois.

!! HOME NEEDED !!

We are currently assisting a rescue centre in South Wales to re-home a 2 year old male IWS named Paris who is in their care. Sadly his owner has passed away. Paris has been with them for 3 months now and they have reached out for our help as all efforts to find him the lovely home he needs have so far failed.
We understand that he is very friendly and good natured, but he has not been given any basic training so he needs someone kind to teach him some good manners. He does not currently travel well and he's not too keen on cats but gets on well with other dogs. We also understand that he is very strong so will need some lead training initially. He has lived in a rather rural environment so a similar home would be ideal although not essential.
He is going to require someone who can give the time and patience he needs to teach him the basics and that will be time consuming.
If you think that you can offer this boy a home please give Lois Ferrans a call in the first instance. She will be happy to provide more information and the contact details of the rescue centre.
Lois Ferrans - IWSA Welfare Coordinator - Tel. 07796 072304 or 01704 541051
Please do not apply if you do not have the time to fulfill all of his requirements.
Please note - The breeder has been made aware and is supporting the IWSA while we do all we can to find this boy the lovely home he deserves and needs.
The IWSA have supported the rescue centre with an initial financial contribution to help them cover the Veterinary and other associated costs they have incurred while he has been in their care.
Like most rescue centres their resources and finances are stretched to the limit. So, as well as trying to find a new home for Paris we are reaching out to our amazing IWS community for your help please! If you would like to make a donation to help this rescue centre these can be made to the IWSA by bank transfer. Please quote PARIS as the reference and we will forward these on to their Bank to support the amazing work they do.
